Bo Hendrix

Pastor

Pastor Bo was born and raised in Valdosta, GA, and later moved to the Atlanta area. After graduating from Valdosta State University in 2003 with a degree in graphic design he felt the Lord’s call to full-time ministry.
While enrolled as a student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, he met his wife, Yvonne. Bo received a call to First Baptist Church of McMinnville, TN as the associate pastor of students in 2008 and served there for nearly ten years. During Bo’s time of ministry at FBC McMinnville, he and Yvonne welcomed 3 awesome boys. Bo completed his Master’s of Divinity and graduated from Southern Seminary in December of 2017.
Bo accepted the call as Senior Pastor of Gum Springs Baptist Church in February 2018 after a unanimous congregational vote.
Bo has a real heart for people. While education and teaching are very important, his desire as a pastor is to love people and shepherd the flock. He believes relationships are the key to building a strong fellowship of believers.

Caleb Lowery

Associate Pastor of Students & Worship

Placing emphasis on making sure teenagers are spiritually equipped for college, Caleb fosters an environment where teenagers want to bring their friends and feel safe sharing their doubts and questions. Caleb is married to his junior-high sweetheart, Logan, and they love and adore there two children.

Adrien Key

Director of Children's Ministry

Adrien is passionate about serving in preschool and children’s ministry as these are the years when boys and girls are introduced to Jesus Christ for the very first time. She is married to her husband, Dustin, and has four children.
